What’s the publication order of the Sword of truth? The ratings had dropped and, last month, the Tribune company (which owns a lot of local stations that air LOS) decided not to pick it up for a third year. Things haven’t been looking so good for the syndicated series for awhile. Why was there no season 3 of Legend of the Seeker? It was written immediately following Confessor. Released August 18, 2009, this novel takes place in our world, one thousand years after the events of the Sword of Truth novels. What book comes after The First Confessor? First Confessor – The novel is set centuries prior to the main Sword of Truth series.
That said, it’s probably better to keep those books for later in order to really appreciate what it delivers. If you want to read the story in a chronological order, you must start here. Do you have to read the Sword of Truth series in order?
